Luis Sepúlveda makes ecology through its novel An old one that read love stories registering the culture of the town Shuar, town that is part of the forest and it also protects it. The knowledge of the registration of this culture by means of the current of the investinvolucramiento that includes the oralitura and the etnotexto, those which in turn give origin to the ecotexto framed the ecoliteratura inside, it brings near the reader toward a more objective vision of this atmosphere. With this fact the writer makes participant to the reader of a re-reading of the forest, when taking the western vision that one has of her and to oppose it to an aborigine. To capture the cultural opposition of these two visions in front of the forest, it makes that the novel of Sepúlveda is presented as example of ecoliteratura of the forest in the novel and like a narrative proposal in the recognition of the Other one (the forest and its residents) keeping fidelity to this atmosphere.eng
