Abstract
This paper has the goal of going deep into the relation between Franz Kafka ‘s esentially solitary lLfe and work and the experiential solipsism — a notion in which man is, for himself and for the others, “one object among others — whi ch human beings are experiencing in present times. The effort is made in such a way that the antecedents and characteristics of the post-industrial era could be seen through this writer’s work. In order to do that, the first part is a review of Kafka ‘s solitary nature, reflected in his work. In the second part, what is understood by experiential solipsism is deflned and delimited. Finally, such solipsism in Kafka ‘s work is made explicit.
